Distinguishing Between Persistence and Repetition in Internet Marketing

Persistence and repetition confuse many internet marketers as they represent two similar meanings. Though related in their actions, they also depict two distinct levels of strategy. Jumbling their definitions could halt your attempts at success in your internet business.

Repetition refers to the act of performing the same task over again. Repetition is important in online marketing and beneficial when determining the methods that work. When you find the methods that further your business, you will be compelled to repeat them hoping the return on investment will repeat or possibly increase your profits.

While repetition represents a viable internet marketing strategy, some entrepreneurs get stuck in the details. If you continue to repeat old strategies you may be closing your eyes to new and upcoming trends as well. This is where persistence is needed. Persistence is also repetitive for you should keep your goals the same, yet it leaves room for adjustment and promotes the will to succeed despite any obstacles. It will force you to achieve your goals and help you to determine whether or not repetition is morphing into a possible obstacle.

Both repetition and persistence are needed for entrepreneurial success. However, the mastery of their applications will determine your ultimate destiny in business. Spend time distinguishing between the two and adjust your campaigns accordingly.
