Doing the Tasks you Love and Outsourcing the Rest

Most of us began the life of an internet entrepreneur to live free of constrains and gain the freedom to make choices that will enrich the quality of our lives. Unfortunately, many of us forget the reasons why we chose this new life. We work long, tireless hours attempting to take care of all aspects of the business. This work often exhausts us to the point of no return and our much anticipated time of relaxation never seems to get off the ground.

If you work these hours, what if anything, separates your life from the daily grind of a “9 to 5″ job professional? You should not tax yourself with all tasks associated with your business, especially the ones in which you do not excel. Your job as the business owner should be to creatively invent new ideas and methods to shine and outperform your competitors. You should also focus your time on developing relationships with your customers.

These two tasks represent the backbone of your business and all other jobs can be outsourced to qualified professionals. Unless you excel and love writing, data entry, or customer service, leave these jobs to others and focus on the ones that will grow your business.

Do not worry about spending the money to outsource. In the long run, your business will grow at a faster rate due to your focus on innovation and creativity. Think about your future goals when contemplating which tasks to outsource and always remember to count the present cost in comparison to the future value.
